The Five Things Boomers Can Do to Stay Healthy

Ah… a long life, with no authentic spare parts available. How can we Boomers—and all of us, really—take care of ourselves so that we enjoy good health throughout our lives? What Chinese medicine says is clear: good food; consistent, intermittent, full-body motion; a good support group; and a feeling that life has meaning.

All of these things give us something to fall back on when hard times show up. And they give us a good quality of life, which allows our life force to flow freely rather than be obstructed. And, of course… moderation. Whatever we do, don’t overdo—even moderation!
