Debby taught me Chinese herbs at Southwest Acupuncture College in 2015-16 and she was my clinic supervisor during my training as well. I feel fortunate to have her in my training to be an acupuncturist. She is a very special practitioner. She is very knowledgable about Western medicine from her nursing background and also she's studied extensively with Chinese classics and five elements Chinese medicine, which have added spiritual & philosophical aspects to create her own style of medicine. She not only taught us individual quality of herbs but only presented the whole pictures of the complex medicine system and where individual herbs fit into. It was a true gift of her and it's probably from her lifetime effort and devotion to the medicine. I still email her if I encounter any complicated cases in my clinic and ask her opinions. She always come up with either missing parts or new perspectives. Some students who have been taught by her have different opinions. I somehow understand why although I don't know the details. Many people underestimate how hard acupuncture schools are especially with a herbal program. Chinese medicine is a medicine. You need to memorize a vast amount of information again and again as if you carve them in your brain for 4 years 12 trimesters. Many students describe going through the herbal program was the hardest thing that they have ever done in their lives. It is no joke. Teaching the program and making students to understand and learn are no joke too. Intensive emotions and experiences can occur during the course. Debby was a brilliant but touch teacher. I love her and her presence in Chinese medicine. Don't hesitate to make an appointment with her. She is one of the most brilliant practitioners who I know of, equipped with vast knowledge, intuition and care. Good luck with your health journey!
Response from the owner: Thank you Simba! You are a wonderful practitioner in your own right. It was and remains an honor and pleasure to contribute to your practice. All the best to you!
She is the best acupuncturist I have been too, and I’ve been to a bunch. Her experience as an RN is a plus.
Response from the owner: Thanks so much Mary! I'm so glad I was able to help. I look forward to helping you in the future.
I’ve been working with Debby for over 20 years now. Life’s a journey and Debby has helped me get through the hard times of Lyme disease, the flu, the common cold, aches and pains of mountain biking and snowboarding as well as care for 2 surgeries. She continues to also support with an empathetic ear and overall good life advice.
Response from the owner: Thanks for being such an amazing teacher Kevin! Always a pleasure to work with you.
Just had another treatment today, this woman is amazing... I went in twisted emotionally because of my pain .. left walking without pain and happy.. over the last 1 1/2 years we have gone from twice a week to once a month with a pain rating of about 3 most of time now.. way down from 7or 8 and sometimes higher .I don’t believe you’ll find an Acupuncturist any betterMy name is Glen Derick in Lakewood Co
Response from the owner: Thank you Glen! Its a pleasure and an honor to help you!
I've been seeing Debby for several years now. She has saved my life twice, once when I had a bacterial infection no one at the hospital (4 different ER visits) could Identify but she figured it out. The second time was when I was having severe anxiety attacks she was able to find that it was a gut issue. Western medicine docs wanted to put me on anti-depressants but thanks to Debby's considerable knowledge and wisdom we worked out a diet that virtually eliminated the problem. I see her regularly for tune ups and feel great. She's amazing - very smart and very kind.
Response from the owner: Thank you so much Dean. Thanks for helping me learn so much.
Debby is an extremely gifted and intuitive healer. After seeing multiple doctors that did pretty much nothing to help me I was pointed in her direction and she literally changed my life. I don’t know where I’d be if it weren’t for her.
Response from the owner: Thanks Deb! It is a pleasure to know you. All the best!
Debby is a wonderful asset to the community. I have been having treatments from her for over a year. She has helped me with whiplash, balancing energies, and most recently, recovering from the side effects of a pneumonia vaccine that had totally knocked me out.I'm so glad you're here.
Response from the owner: Thanks so much Kerrie! So glad I am able to help.
Debby's acupuncture and herbal services have helped me get through many health issues over the years. Recently I broke my right leg. Pain has been a big issue. I am amazed at how her acupuncture has both reduced the pain and swelling considerably but also it has accelerated the healing. In just a few weeks I have seen such a difference. Her skill's have made my life so much better! She truly is a "Master" of her trade and I think anyone with health issues would be incredibly lucky to have found her!
Response from the owner: Thanks so much Teddy! I'm happy to have the opportunity to help you recover. Looking forward to more opportunities so this accident will become a distant memory.
Debby is a lifesaver! She was able to sort through the layers of my complex body function challenges, prioritizing and adjusting as my healing progressed. Debby has a heart of gold and combines her focused approach to finding solutions with her genuine caring and concern for her patients and her vast knowledge and experience. I've recommended Debby to my friends who have had also experienced great results. Debby is a rare gem - give her a call!
Response from the owner: Thanks so much Barb. It was a pleasure working with you! So glad I could help.
Debby is an exquisitely skilled practitioner. She has a very strong knowledge in the area of acupuncture and is a brilliant herbalist as well. She is soft, kind and caring, and will most definitely have a positive impact on whatever condition you are seeking treatment for.
Response from the owner: Thank you!
Debbie is a very wise, experienced acupuncturist. Her previous medical training in addition to her vast acupuncture/Chinese medicine training provide a unique approach to health and wellness. Very few practitioners have been able to help me move forward in my quest to feel better, but she was one of the few. I highly recommend her services.
Response from the owner: Thanks so much DeDee! So glad I can help.
